Last Sunset of 2011, Boracay, Philippines
The Sun has Set on 2011. Another year is over. Goodbye 2011 and Welcome 2012.
I was watching the sun go down over the sea whilst drinking an ice cold San Miguel Pils at a bar on Puka Beach on the island of Boracay. It was the ultimate sunset of 2011 and it didn’t disappoint.
We are ‘all’ sunset travelers. Some arising in dawns long past,
Now to find our afternoons… Rushing to caress an horizon,
Beginning to crest the West. With assorted memories blessed
We are ‘all’ sunset travelers!
Last sunset 2011
And yes, Some of us do prefer those dawns,
Remembered.
But the rest… Have come to enjoy,
Such an enlightened ride.

Sand beneath my feet
Sky above my head
Looking for the sunset
The sunset I have left,
I am walking all alone
On the beaches sand
Walking by myself
With seashells in my hand,
Looking for the sunset
the sunsets which are spoke
The one that lover’s kiss to
The one, poets have wrote.
The Final Sunset of 2011 , Nearly Gone
Walking arm in arm
With a different thought
Searching for the sunset
The beauty, many have sought,
I am walking all alone
The Ultimate Sunset of 2011 Gone
With the sky above my head
Still looking for the beauty
The sunset I have left,
For many have told me
Many have also explained
There is nothing like the sunset
After Sunset on Puka beach, Boracay
Or the summer’s rain,
I am walking all by myself
From my cloudy life
Looking for the wonder
The beauty after night.
