Plonk Crazy Golf, London Fields

Just as its name implies, Plonk Crazy Golf represents crazy golf at its peak. There are four venues across London with its London Fields venue being its most recent addition.

The nine-hole mini crazy course features all the elements of a plonk golf venue with colourful designs and energy, just like the Forest Hill and Camden venues.

This new outdoor venue has everything for a fun time out with friends-whether or not you want to play golf. Plonk also has a pinball parlour and a retro arcade game. There is an ice cream shack, a tiki bar and a sandwich shop.

The London Fields venue has a twist to it–it is BYOC (bring your own cocktail).

Junkyard Golf

Another of the capital’s popular crazy golf courses is Junkyard Golf. This pop-up mini course is one that belongs on your list of things to do when visiting London. It is an offshoot of the permanent Junkyard venue in Manchester.

The pop-up London venue is set up in Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery, and it was the rave of the moment for 3 months in London. As you may have already guessed, the golf course is made up of pieces of junk from old and worn out car parts, to old and discarded washing machines and all kinds of things.

Sounds crazy, right?

The gritty ambience of the course is reminiscent of a futuristic post-apocalyptic scene with graffiti, UV neon lights, and loud techno music coming out of the speakers. You also get to treat yourself to alcoholic drinks from the bars and street food.

If you are looking for a truly unique experience while in London, then you should visit Junkyard.

Puttshack, Westfield, London

At the Westfield mall in West London, the Puttshack is considered the most high-tech crazy golf venue in London.

The experience is out of this world with magical sensors tracking every movement of the ball while recording scores, assigning who goes next, creating a tech-driven crazy golf experience.

Puttshack’s challenges are inventive, drawing some of its inventive inspirations from trivia, quizzes, beer pong, and all kinds of spontaneous elements.

Dinosaur Escape

Dinosaur lovers, Jurassic World fans, this one is for you. Dinosaur Escape is one of the biggest and most intriguing 18-hole crazy golf venues in London. In West-London, the size of the venue is inspired by Florida-styled golf venues; because Americans always go big.

The dinosaurs are near-life sized and almost intimidating. They are animatronic, which means they move, roar, and breathe, but do not let them distract you from the game at hand.

The venue designed is inspired by Jurassic World with a jungle theme with some thoughtful ideas that successfully bring back memories. The venue is perfect for everyone of all ages and skill level.
