About Liwa Village

Liwa village is part of the Al Ghadeer sub-community, located on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi. Al Ghadeer is generally a residential community situated at the boundary between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Aldar Properties is developing Al Ghadeer.

Residents of Liwa Village have easy access to a wide range of services and conveniences, such as schools, restaurants, shopping malls, grocery stores, and places to have fun. Those who work in Dubai or go there often will find that this neighborhood fits their needs perfectly.

Even though the houses in the neighborhood are often cheaper than those in the city center, the people there have access to all the necessary services and facilities to live a good life.

Zones at Liwa Village

There is a classic mix of old and new and busy and quiet times, so everyone can find something they like at Liwa village.

Souk

At this zone, you can buy great off-the-rack items from vendors like EBL, House of Artisans, Chitral Handicrafts, Elevenish, and Garment Group.

There is also an on-site spice store, henna painting, displays of khoos basket weaving, and live Emirati cooking demonstrations. These things are close to Dubai’s most well-known casual dining spots worldwide.

We’re talking about High Joint, Nap Pizza, Boh’ba Bubble Tea, Space Café, Scoppi Ice Cream, Flurry, and Acai Republic.

Oasis

This is where visitors take a break from the busyness of the rest of the event and do something creative or relaxing.

Some experiences you can enjoy here include making terrariums, making jewelry, painting clay pots, and going on tea trips.

There are contributions from Mattar Farm, The Giving Movement, Culinary Botique, Turquoise Boutique Studio, DRVN, Nikon Kids Camera Club, Let’s Café, and many more businesses and organizations.

Pavilion

This section of the Village has been dedicated to the quest for relaxation and the enjoyment of aesthetic artwork.

You’ll find the tranquil space of the Pavilion right in the middle of everything, complete with a calming floral embrace and architectural touches that exude zen.

Play Zone

At Liwa Village, there are also several appealing ways to spend time in front of a TV. There will be eSports events, eGaming tournaments, modern and old arcade machines with buttons to smash, skill games to play, and chances to win candy bags.

Dining

The GAZE Immersive Dining experience, defined as “a dining environment woven with digital technology under the stars,” promises to be very different from any other meal you have ever had.

The two best restaurants here are the world-famous Zuma and the long-running Antika (this experience is from December 16 to 18).

Set dinners start at Dhs1, 000 per person, but there aren’t many seats, so you should make reservations as soon as possible.

The meal at Zuma will include miso-marinated black fish wrapped in hoba leaf, spicy beef tenderloin with sesame, and unique chocolate, caramel, and almond praline with Tahitian vanilla ice cream for dessert.

It is available from Friday, December 23, Saturday, December 24, and Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Stage

At the stage zone, you will enjoy live performances from local musicians like Abdullah Ruwaished, Khaled Al Mulla, Abadi Al Johar, and Mutref Al Mutref.
