I was recently invited to join a media trip to the North of the Philippines to discover what the Provinces of Nueva Ecija, Cagayan and the Island of Palaui have to offer visitors to the region. I was very much surprised by what i discovered.
I have sifted through my fellow bloggers Instagram Feeds and have a series of three posts lined up for you. This second set of 21 Instagrams highlights some hidden treasures of Nueva Ecija
Nueva Ecija is a landlocked province just 4 hours away from Manila and perfect for that getaway with the kids. Hidden away in the Municipality of General Tinio are two attractions your kids and family will just love, Minalungao National Park and PMP Paradise Farm.
Further afield in the Science City of Munoz is the Philrice Research Institute which really opened my eyes to how rice will be farmed in the future.
I hope these photos inspire you to take the trip North this summer and discover for yourself the beauty of Nueva Ecija and North Luzon

Looks like a great collection of instagramers!
I would really love to visit the Philippines! It looks so beautiful and love your photos and tale of travels through your pictures!
I really love the pictures. Compositions are great. Seems like a nice place to visit in the Phillipinnes.
I think photography is always the best way to showcase a place we liked, to inspire the others. You did a good job 🙂
Nueva Elcija is so beautiful. All the instagram posts bring alive the vibrant colour and beauty of the place. This is indeed another jewel in the crown of the Philippines.
All the pictures are lovely, but the bridge at Minalungao National Park is my favourite. Would love to go there and walk on it myself. Food looks very tempting too.!
Wow! What a beautiful place! I’d love to go zip lining there and eat all of that food haha
I was just thinking how the sheep was the best photo, but then I saw the fishing one and it blew me away. Your photos are stunning! What a great eye you have, and I guess it doesn’t hurt that Nueva Ejija is gorgeous!
