Google Meet

The free version of Google Meet was announced in May 2020 and is an evolution (merger) of Hangouts Meet and Hangouts Chat. For the free version of Google Meet, all participants must be logged in to a Google Account in order to participate (you can create a Google Account with a corporate or personal email address).

The user can create a video conference, invite up to 100 participants and make up to 60 minutes per meeting for free. For additional features, such as international attendance numbers, meeting registration, live streaming, and management controls, Google offers different subscription packages.

The software adjusts its performance according to the network’s speed, ensuring high-quality video calls, wherever you are. New enhancements via Artificial Intelligence (AI) provide call clarity, even when ambient conditions are not ideal.

All the above platforms allow us to communicate from the security of our work from home space in an era that is not at all reminiscent of our social past. These rapid changes in our lives, specifically in the way we work, have brought new data to the way we work and communicate. This means that we must be in tune with these recent trends so that we can take advantage of all the opportunities that will appear before us.

The evolution of technology and the internet has brought development to many timeless professions, giving them a new “breath” of improvement. One of these  is the profession of voice actor, which can now be practised by anyone from their private space, as long as they have the appropriate equipment.

Thus, it can carry out all its daily processes while at the same time communicating with its customers and employers through the various platforms we mentioned. If all this sounds interesting to you, you’ve got a job at Voquent, which is constantly looking for professional voice actors.
